Peace is joy at rest, and joy is peace on its
feet.
Anne Lamott (from Plan B)
(unknown work at the Seattle Art Museum -
I liked its organic quality and the hint of a long-buried past)
another piece on display at Seattle Art Museum
in a collection of African works --
this piece is all from recycled materials
I find enormous JOY in seeing things other people create.
Where did you find JOY this week?
1. do a post that tells and shows us
what gives you joy.
2. Capture the URL of the specific post and paste it
into the Mr. Linky box along with your name.
3. Then click the NEXT box (or the link)
to choose an image from the post to hook to Mr. Linky's list
so that people are enticed to visit your blog.
If you just can't get it to work, send me the info
and I'll try to link it for you.
4. Visit other players -- as many as possible --
and let their joy infect you.
Leave them a comment, because everyone enJOYS
getting positive feedback.

Interesting art.
Thanks for sharing.
I like to buy earrings at my local Fair Trade store.
Lots of them are made from recycled materials.
I always get positive comments on them because they look so different.
I love the photos and suspect I would love the exhibit as well. Is it still up? I want to visit Pauline and Richard so we may come up for a weekend. I will let you know.

Yes, I think joy is definitely something that makes us want to stand up and dance, and share the joy.
Mine, this week, is subdued, but something I want to share.

I guess I was out having too much JOY to join in last week! But I have some postcards from paradise today! Your images are so intriguing Meri....I wish we could go on a photo hunt together again someday! ~Silliness and wild things would definitely occur~
OH, I love that first image.

I believe the bottom photo
is a bit of a work by El Anatsui?
the bottle cap genius from Ghana/Nigeria
just saw one of his sumptuous works
and a documentary about him yesterday
